After re-reading the battle report from White Dwarf 222: The Last Stand at Glazer’s Creek, I’ve been inspired to paint some Praetorian Imperial Guardsmen.
I finished this a few months back and like many of my models, it stood unfinished for a long time.
Now it is finally completed: The Plasma Obliterator Tower.
Recently I’ve been on a bit of a scenery kick and the first scenery kit I’ve completed fully is the Promethium Relay Pipes.
Recently I’ve been getting all manner of excited over the idea of taking part in a campaign. There has been a few murmurings about one being run down my local gaming club.
To try and influence this actually happening, I have invested in a Planetary Empires set from Games Workshop.
It’s great having a deadline for getting models finished by. That tends to be my biggest motivaton as I refuse to game with unpainted models.
Well it’s been 6 months since I attended my first tournament and still I’ve not gotten round to writing up about it.
Well before we sweep it completely under the rug, a very brief summary.
This Saturday sees my first adventure in the world of tournaments.
My local club are running their annual Mayhem event and for the first time ever I’ve put my name down.
